Tamil Nadu announces 3 free LPG cylinders per family, free bus travel for transgenders

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Joseph Vijay on Monday announced three free LPG cylinders a year for every family with an annual income below ₹2.5 lakh. The scheme is estimated to cost the state exchequer around ₹4,000 crore annually and is expected to benefit 1.30 crore families. Vijay also announced free bus travel for transgender persons.
