The Tamil Nadu government has banned sale of cough syrup 'Coldrif' and ordered its removal from market following suspicions that linked it to deaths of 11 children in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. Inspections were carried out at city-based firm manufacturing the cough syrup during last two days, an official said. The company supplies medicines to Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Puducherry.
