US President Donald Trump claimed during his 2026 State of the Union address on Wednesday that tariffs imposed by US on other countries will substantially replace the income tax system in the future in America. Stating that it'll take "a significant financial burden off the people I love", Trump added that US finally has a President who puts America first.
