Tata Chemicals Europe has announced a £60 million investment to build a 180,000 tons-per-year pharmaceutical-grade sodium bicarbonate plant in the UK. Construction of the plant is set to begin in 2025 and production will reportedly start in 2025. The investment will reportedly be financed through a internal accruals and debt options.
