Tata Group is in talks with Wistron to buy its manufacturing plant in Karnataka for ₹4,000-5,000 crore to increase the manufacturing capabilities of Tata Electronics Pvt Ltd (TEPL), Economic Times reported. The facility manufactures Apple devices and components. Tata Group is also planning to set up an electronics manufacturing joint venture with Wistron, Bloomberg reported in September.
