Tata Motors is locked in a legal dispute with Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), according to a report by The Economic Times. Tata Motors had sought to surrender its exemption status and transfer its EPF corpus to the EPFO, but the pension funds body rejected the company's right to surrender the exemption status, the report said.
