Ratan Tata in 2010 said a fellow industrialist suggested paying ₹15 crore bribe to a minister when Tata Group was trying to form an airline. Tata recalled telling the industrialist, "I just want to go to bed at night...knowing that I haven't got the airline by paying for it." Tata never revealed the identities of the industrialist and the minister.
