Tata Electronics' ₹6,000 crore iPhone manufacturing plant in Hosur, Tamil Nadu, is set to commence production in November 2024 according to reports. The facility will employ 50,000 workers and is part of Apple's strategy to expand its manufacturing footprint in India. This plant marks Tata's second iPhone manufacturing unit.
