On the Figuring Out podcast, TATA Starbucks CEO, Sushant Dash told Raj Shamani that initially he had to work as a barista for three weeks in order to understand how Starbucks works, the challenges, systems and customers. He further said that many employees who join have to work as a barista during their initial days.
