Tata stocks fall after Trusts propose merger to keep Tata Sons pvt

Most Tata Group stocks fell in early trade on Tuesday after reports said Tata Trusts had proposed restructuring two operating companies to merge with Tata Sons, in a bid to avoid a stock market listing. Shares of Tata Teleservices, Tata Motors PV, Titan, TCS, Tata Chemicals, Tata Power, Tata Steel and Tata Technologies fell up to 5% during the session.
