Tata Trusts issued a statement regarding Maharashtra Charity Commissioner's order deferring its board meeting scheduled for Saturday. Tata Trusts said the direction was issued "ex parte" and that it wasn't afforded a hearing. The two "similar" complaints by lawyer Katyayani Agrawal and board member Venu Srinivasan claimed the board violated rules, as over 1/4th of its total members were permanent.
