Market veteran CK Narayan said Budget raising capital gains tax and securities transaction tax (STT) won't deter people from trading as it's a kind of addiction. "This (tax hike) is like a warning on cigarette packs. It has been there for decades and nobody has stopped smoking," he stated. "People will engage in it no matter what," he added.
