Taxing billionaires won't ease US national debt: World's richest person Elon Musk

Elon Musk, the world's richest person with $292 billion fortune, said taxing all "billionaires at 100%" would only make a "small dent" toward paying off the US national debt. "According to their (lawmakers') own estimates, this tax only covers 10% of the $3.5 trillion spending bill," he wrote on Twitter. "Spending is the real problem," the Tesla CEO added.
