The Income Tax Department has started showing details of eligible taxpayers' foreign assets and income in the Annual Information Statement (AIS) on the e-filing portal, Moneycontrol reported. The move aims to improve taxpayer services and encourage voluntary tax compliance. Information for 2022, 2023 and 2024 is currently available, with 2025 data to be added later this year.
