TCS cuts mid & senior staff's variable pay as junior staff get 100% bonus: Report

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) cut its mid to senior-level employees' average variable pay to 60-70% in Q1 from 80% in the previous two quarters, Moneycontrol reported citing sources. The fall in variable pay comes amid operating margin pressures and investments focused on artificial intelligence. However, the junior staff continued to receive 100% of their quarterly bonus, the report added.
