Speaking to reporters during India AI Impact Summit, Tata Sons Chairman N Chandrasekaran said the mass layoffs at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) had nothing to do with artificial intelligence. He said the layoffs should not be viewed as an AI-driven move, NDTV Profit reported. Notably, last year the tech giant fired 2% of its workforce, equating to about 12,000 employees.
