Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has clarified that it is not pursuing any predetermined target for job cuts. The company's HR chief, Sudeep Kunnumal, said workforce adjustments are based on continuous evaluation, not fixed plans. Despite a 20,000 headcount drop in Q2 FY25, TCS emphasised that layoffs are not systematic, and employee exits are being handled with care and support.
