Shares of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) gained 5% on Monday after the IT company reported an almost 18% year-on-year rise in the March quarter profit at ₹8,126 crore, beating estimates. The company also added ₹36,136 crore to its market valuation. TCS had reported a revenue of ₹38,010 crore during the quarter, its strongest revenue growth in the last 15 quarters.
