TCS shares eroded ₹6,550-crore investor wealth in 15 minutes of trade on Tuesday. This comes after the shares lost ₹20,000 crore in value on Monday, a day after the firm announced that it will be laying off 12,000 employees over the next year. The market capitalisation fell as low as ₹11.07 lakh crore in early trade on Tuesday.
