Kurt Minnaar, a 33-year-old math teacher at a high school in Cape Town, Africa uses hip-hop beats and rhymes to teach math to students. Minnaar created 60-second math tracks where he raps off multiplication tables to hip-hop beats. He then asks his students to rap along to the music playing on his laptop. Kurt also encourages dancing during class.
