IIT Mandi researchers have developed an artificial structure/material that can make military equipment, stealth vehicles and covert establishments invisible to radar. The material has the ability to absorb a wide range of radar frequencies hitting in from any direction. The design is based on Frequency Selective Surface (FSS) and uses an optically transparent ITO-coated PET sheet.
