Teen dies after newly installed lift crashes at Kerala warehouse

A 19-year-old worker named Akshay Krishnan died after a newly installed lift crashed inside a stationery shop warehouse at Vellorkunnam in Muvattupuzha. Akshay had entered the lift while bringing down stock from the third floor when it suddenly collapsed. He suffered severe injuries and died after being taken to hospital. Police are investigating possible safety negligence.
