Anasuya Sarma (Anu) was born in 2006 with Down Syndrome. During the pandemic in 2020, her mother Aryta Persaud noticed Anu's love for lipsticks and wondered, “What if this could be something?” With no formal training, Anu and Aryta made their first batch of lip balms and shared it with friends and family. Anu’s lip balm brand, Lovebird was born.
