Tejas is world’s smallest multi-role aircraft

The indigenously developed supersonic aircraft Tejas is world’s smallest lightweight, multi-role single-engine tactical fighter aircraft. The aircraft has a wing span of 8.20 metres and a take-off weight of 9,800 kg. The aircraft’s structure is composed of 42% carbon fibre composites, 43% aluminium alloy, and the remainder titanium alloy.
