RJD leader and Mahagathbandhan's CM face, Tejashwi Yadav, promised to legalise Toddy in the dry state of Bihar if the alliance comes to power. Toddy is a mild alcoholic beverage made from the fermented sap of palm trees. Bihar became a dry state in 2016. The announcement has come days before the Assembly elections, scheduled for November 6 and 11.
