Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Sunday launched the distribution of over 5.6 lakh new ration cards at a public meeting in Thirumalagiri, Suryapet, bringing the total number of ration card-holding households in the state to 95.56 lakh, covering more than 3.09 crore people. Addressing the gathering, Reddy described the ration card as a symbol of dignity for the poor.
