The Telangana government has distributed commercial vehicles to the Dalit community in Hyderabad under the 'Dalit Bandhu Scheme', which is aimed at empowering the community and lifting them out of poverty. "Dalit Bandhu is a unique scheme in which ₹10 lakh will be given to Dalit families. They can use this for doing business," an SC Corporation official said.
