Telangana HC on Tuesday stayed swearing-in of Prof Kodandaram and Amer Ali Khan as MLCs under Governor’s quota until further directions. The Governor had approved the Congress government nominations. The same Governor previously rejected then BRS government nominating them. Two BRS leaders challenged the rejection. They now contend the swearing-in couldn’t happen when their case was still pending.
