Deep in the woods of Telangana's Mulugu district, Medaram is being given a new lease of life. Ahead of the four-day Sammakka–Saralamma Maha Jatra beginning on January 28, 2026, the sacred site is undergoing a ₹251-crore makeover. The makeover seeks to put an end to patchwork fixes and build something meant to stand the test of time.
