Telangana SNCU fire death toll rises to 5 infants

Five newborns died after a fire broke out at the Special Newborn Care Unit (SNCU) in RIMS, Adilabad, Telangana, following an AC explosion Monday night. Two more infants succumbed Wednesday. Around 27 babies were in incubators when the fire started and 20 were rescued. The state government ordered electrical, fire, and structural audits at the hospital.
