Cyber risk management startup Safe Security has raised $33 million in a funding round led by British telecoms group BT. Existing investors, including former Executive Chairman of Cisco Systems John Chambers, also participated in the round. Incubated at IIT Bombay in 2012 and headquartered in California, Safe Security helps companies and governments gauge and mitigate cyber risk in real time.
