After the Protean bowling lineup dismissed the Indian top order, South Africa were handed a major blow as skipper Temba Bavuma limped off the field after pulling his hamstring. The incident took place in the 20th over when Bavuma chased the ball. With him walking off, Dean Elgar took over the captaincy reins.
