Tencent loses $60 billion as Chinese media calls online games 'spiritual opium'

Chinese technology conglomerate Tencent's shares slumped 10% on Tuesday wiping off $60 billion from its market value after Chinese media called online gaming "spiritual opium" and "electronic drugs". The Economic Information Daily cited a student as saying that some schoolmates played Tencent's 'Honor of Kings' eight hours daily. Hours later, Tencent said it would curb minors' access to its game.
