Terracotta figurines from 700 BCE discovered in Karnataka

Archaeologists have found unique ancient terracotta figurines dating back to 800-700 BCE at Mudu Konaje near Moodbidri in Dakshina Kannada district of Karnataka. The eight figurines are in different stages of preservation, with bone and iron pieces. Out of these, two represent bovines, one mother goddess, two peacocks, one horse, one hand of a mother goddess and an unknown object.
