The Sang police post in Udhampur's Basantgarh was attacked by terrorists on Wednesday, following which a cordon and search operation was launched in the area. This comes two days after an attack on an Army convoy killed five soldiers in the area on Monday. A village defense guard was killed in an encounter with terrorists in Basantgrah in April.
