A Tesla driver has been banned from driving for 18 months in the UK for sitting in the passenger seat while on Autopilot. The driver Bhavesh Patel has also been ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work and pay a fine. Patel was filmed leaning back beside an empty driver's seat with the car moving at 64 kmph.
