The California DMV has said in a memo that a Tesla engineer revealed in a call that Elon Musk has overstated the progress of the firm's Autopilot, media reports said. "Tesla indicated that Elon is extrapolating on the rates of improvement when speaking about L5 capabilities," the agency said. It added Tesla may not achieve full self-driving technology by year-end.
