Swedish lithium-ion battery maker Northvolt said it has received a battery cell order worth more than $14 billion over the next 10 years from Germany's Volkswagen. Northvolt added it will sell its share in joint-venture Northvolt Zwei to Volkswagen. Co-founded by former Tesla executive Peter Carlsson, Northvolt earlier bought US startup Cuberg for an undisclosed amount.
