Tesla has announced that it has hired Stuart Bowers, a software engineer from Snapchat's parent company Snap as its VP of engineering. Bowers, who previously also worked at Microsoft and Facebook, will be working on Tesla's Autopilot software, the company said. Snap also confirmed the move and said, "He has long had a dream to pursue his passion for robotics."
