Tesla is in talks with the regional government of Valencia in Spain to build a car factory, the newspaper Cinco Dias reported citing sources. The investment from Tesla in the potential plant could surpass $4.83 billion. The local government said it has had meetings with an unidentified company about a "large automobile investment".
