Elon Musk-owned Tesla plans to locate its China design centre in Beijing, a government document said. The Beijing municipal government made the disclosure in a work report, in late January, in which it listed key projects for the city in 2022. Xiaomi's planned car plant and Toyota Motor's fuel cell research centre were also listed.
