Tesla appointed Sharad Agarwal, who previously led Lamborghini India, to head local operations in the country, Moneycontrol reported. Agarwal's task will be on luxury buyers, reviving Tesla’s push in India's market and navigating India's high import tariffs and slow EV adoption. Tesla has seen underwhelming sales in India, receiving just over 600 orders since starting sales in July.
