Telangana government has announced there'll be 75% cut in the salaries of the CM, state cabinet ministers, MLCs, MLAs, state corporation chairpersons and representatives of local bodies in April. There also will be a 60% salary cut for bureaucrats and other central services officers. The government stated the step was required since COVID-19 has impacted Telangana's economic situation.
