The statue of freedom fighter and Telangana activist Konda Laxman Bapuji will be erected on Hyderabad's Tank Bund road. Works to erect the statue have been started by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA), reports stated. Around ₹30 lakh is being spent for the procurement of 15-foot bronze statue, construction of pedestal and steps, along with greenery development.
