Thai celebrity media tycoon Jakkaphong 'Anne' Jakrajutatip has bought the Miss Universe Organization for $20 million. It is the first time a woman will own the Miss Universe beauty pageant organiser. She is the CEO and biggest shareholder of Thailand-based JKN Global Group, and a celebrity in Thailand, starring in local versions of reality shows Project Runway and Shark Tank.
