Thailand's government said a rocket attack from Cambodia killed a 63-year-old villager, first civilian death reported as a direct result of combat border clash between the countries. The clash was set off by a conflict on December 7 that wounded two Thai soldiers, and has killed over two dozen people on both sides. Further, nearly 6,00,000 have been displaced.
