The Stock Exchange of Thailand suspended all trading activities for the afternoon session on Friday after a 7.7-magnitude earthquake struck neighbouring Myanmar. "Closure affects all markets, including SET, Market for Alternative Investment (MAI), and Thailand Futures Exchange (TFEX)," the exchange operator said on its website. The earthquake led to the collapse of several buildings in Myanmar.
