The Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs thanked India in a letter for its help in the rescue of 12 kids and their football coach from a cave. The letter mentioned Kirloskar Brothers, a company that provided pumps to drain out water from the flooded cave complex. Indian engineers Prasad Kulkarni and Shyam Shukla were involved in the rescue operation.
