Thalassery hospital baby death sparks negligence allegations

A baby died during delivery at Thalassery General Hospital in Kannur, Kerala. The baby's father, Bijesh, alleged that delayed surgery contributed to the death and plans to file a police complaint. The hospital gynaecologist denied negligence, saying placental abruption, in which the placenta separates from the womb, caused the baby's death.
