Thane Police booked two fraudsters for allegedly cheating a man of over ₹33 lakh by falsely promising him lucrative returns on bitcoin investment. The victim reportedly came into contact with the accused through a WhatsApp group, after which the accused tricked him into investing. The victim got good returns initially, however, later he didn't get his money back.
